Course Objectives
Jewellery Creations inspires creativity in students.
+ It teaches basic beading techniques, pique their curiosity and desire to learn more.
+ It aims to illustrate the ease of creating beautiful, well-designed, wearable beaded jewellery.
+ Students will also learn and experience the intricacies of craftmaking as an art form as well as for decoration and practical usage.
+ Upon completion of the course, students should be able to understand what have been taught and thus, using the basic techniques, modify and develop their own design.

Course Outline
Introduction to Jewellery Creations
Introduction to the materials and the different types of beads and other materials such as wires, fishing lines, ropes and even clay.
Understand the importance of colours and shapes and how they play a part in creating expressive jewellery.
Understanding of different techniques such as threading, wiring, weaving and sticking, and the use of ropes to create beautiful, well-designed, wearable beaded jewellery.
Appreciating brief information on jewellery from the past to the present.
Exploration on ideas and themes
Conceptualization and Designing of Individual Jewellery pieces
Creative Jewellery Creations & putting them together.
